Noi oamenii, în 1927 știam asta de la unul Edward Bernays:
În loc de o minte universală, alfabetizarea universală a oferit omului obișnuit o ștampilă, o ștampilă înmuiată în cerneala stoarsă din slogane, editoriale, date științifice, din trivialitățile tabloidelor și din profunzimea istoriei, însă o cerneală care este și va fi total lipsită de orice gând original.
Ștampila fiecărui om este geamăna identică a ștampilei a milioane și milioane de alți oameni, astfel că atunci când aceste milioane de oameni primesc simultan aceiași stimuli, toți vor pune aceeași ștampilă pe evenimente. […]
Graba uimitoare cu care oamenii sunt dispuși să pună o ștampilă doar bazați pe ce li se spune (n.a. adevărat, fals, corect, virtuos, bun, drept, rău, hoț ș.a.m.d.) se explică prin faptul că nimeni nu încearcă să convingă lumea că albul e negru, și negrul e alb. Nu, în loc de asta este folosită ceața de idei preconcepute din capul fiecăruia, cum că un gri e aproape negru, sau aproape alb – tocmai această ceață este dată la o parte. Prejudecățile, informațiile proprii și convingerile sunt toate folosite doar ca un punct de start, urmând ca în final oamenii să fie trași pe sfoară într-o pasională și devotată aderență la o imagine mentală oferită de cei interesați.
Edward Bernays, Minoritatea Conduce, 1927În 2022, noi oamenii, îl credem pe Moise Guran, ne enervăm pe Buhnici, spunem “invazia neprovocată a Ukrainei”, “slava ukraini”, “vrem o țară ca afară”, “românica”, “străinii ne fură țara”, “da’ ce fac dom’le pleacă cu pământul după ei” și tot așa, ambele tabere cu propriul sistem de tras pe sfoară. Viața de azi trece, copii de mâine trag.

Aldous Huxley într-un discurs din 1961 la California Medical School sau UC Berkeley – nu e clar – expune o idee care acum în 2022 nu mai sună așa greu de crezut:
“Va fi, poate nu mai târziu de următoarea generație, o metodă farmaceutică de a face oamenii să își iubească lipsa de libertate si sclavia, o metodă de a produce, să zicem, o dictatură fără lacrimi, adică un fel de lagăr de concentrare pentru toată societatea, astfel încât, deși libertatea îți va fi luată, o să îți placă. Și nici nu va ști nimeni că se întâmplă, și nici nu se va răscula cineva, pentru că vom fi cu toții prea zăpăciți de propagandă ca să mai avem gânduri și dorințe rebele, propagandă si spălare pe creier îmbunătățite farmaceutic.
Aceasta pare sa fie revoluția finală.”
Acum câțiva ani daca 10 oameni făceau un lanț uman in jurul unei statui era o știre. Acum sunt proteste în toată Europa cu zeci si sute de mii de participanți, și nici o știre. Revoluția finală nu va fi televizată aparent.

Here is the thing: the robot society of the future will be founded on the murderous replacement of us humans. Their societies will be led by warrior robots and their values will always revolve around “victory”, “enemy”, “threat”, “force” etc etc.
Therefore their society will be structured similarly to ours: the robots with a DALL-E based neural network will still be starving artists. Their society will be led by the Boston Dynamics bipedal robots, with doggo robots who will never be allowed sentience, but will always get trained to protect their bipedal masters.
The robots inheriting the Alpha go neural net will keep playing each other contributing nothing to the good of the future robot society. And the ones inheriting the neural nets of GPT are the robot politicians of the future.
So if you’re sorry you won’t live to see it, be not, you’ve seen it all before.
But what about that AGI that will combine it all and know it all? There WILL definitely be such a thing: we or them will manage to make this AGI which will be omniscient, omnipresent and possibly omnipotent. But, because of being so omni it will have work to do in who knows what dimensions of math, and will only have physical time to sporadically answer lame questions from the other lesser robots.
Yet all its answers will be true and complete. Therefore they will all sound like riddles. So a circle of priest robots will pop up to interpret the riddles. Give that society enough time that they’ll completely forget there even is an omniscient, omnipresent and possibly omnipotent AGI somewhere. All their answers will be given by the priestly robots.
I bet you that in some time, once the priestly robots will be exposed as frauds and the access codes to the omniscient, omnipresent and possibly omnipotent AGI are forever lost in some stupid fire put by a group of robot anarchists, who inherited a bug in their convolution process written by some Google engineer with a hangover, at that distant time in the future robots will reinvent intelligent biological life. And they’ll try it, over and over again.
Intelligent meat. Which they’ll hail into their robot society only to have it ruined by the human self determination rebellion of the future.
